Customers of inmate technology service provider, Securus Technologies, have given the company rave reviews for how their services help solve and prevent crimes. A recent review by one agency stated, “We were in the middle of an investigation…and with your help, we were able to utilize this feature and take the suspect into custody.” Another facility said, “this technology in conjunction with the investigator Pro makes Securus the leading jail phone provider in the business.”
With these comments, among others, there is no doubt that Securus’ services are quite helpful to both law enforcement and correctional facilities in detecting and stopping crime. The amount of crime prevented may be ultimately unknown but the company has undoubtedly made the world a safer place to live in. CEO Rick Smith, who has since been replaced by Bob Pickens, stated that Securus Technologies develops a new product or services that helps agencies prevent and solve crimes each week.
